Valley Cares is examining the feasibility of adding 10-12 new units to West River Valley Assisted Living in Townshend. We hope to be able to make a decision on whether or not to move forward with this project by spring 2011.
In fall 2010 Valley Cares signed an option to purchase the Putney Inn for the purpose of developing licensed assisted living on the site. Pre-development work, including systems assessment, preliminary design and financial feasibility are currently underway. Should our preliminary study prove favorable, April 2011 has been set as a date to execute a purchase and sales agreement for the property.
