We Provide Housing, Care and Services
Valley Cares, Inc. is a community-based 501 (c) (3) which provides affordable housing and supportive services to the elderly residents of the West River Valley and surrounding towns. In 2007 we developed West River Valley Senior Housing, 24 units of independent living and 28 units of assisted living located on Grafton Road in Townshend, Vermont. We also provide the following community services: homemaker services, a free lending library of durable medical equipment, rides to medical appointments, Meals on Wheels to residents in Brookline, Newfane and Townshend; and consulting to organizations who are interested in developing senior housing in their communities.
